Beschrijving
On the 22th and 23th of June 2019 Vivian Broughton offers us a 2-day introduction training to “Identity-oriented Psychotrauma Therapy”.
Identity-oriented Psychotrauma Therapy (IoPT) is a new therapeutic development that looks in depth at emotional and psychological trauma, and its impact on our identity, our sense of who we are, our physical health and wellbeing.
IoPT is founded on the theories and practice developed by Professor Dr Franz Ruppert.
The theory of IoPT is based on a specific understanding of what trauma is, the distinction between high stress and trauma, and the psychological split that is the innate agent with which we survive trauma. It also looks at the impact of traumas that have occurred at the first moment in our lives, even before birth, and affect our sense of identity.
Trauma, and the avoidance of trauma, is native to our society, our politics, our business, our economy and our private lives. We do not see it, and that is part of our collective survival of trauma. The most common attitude towards trauma is avoidance.
Vivian will elaborate on these issues while working with participants’ issues using the Intention Method. This method grew out of the constellations work developed by Bert Hellinger, but has now moved into something quite unique and entirely different. The person’s intention is the framework for the process.
